WW1 in Alsace - Linge Battle - 63rd Anti Aircraft Regiment - 96th poste semi-fixed

Ammunitions, warning.

Danger explosifNe pas toucherDanger de mort
DANGER OF DEATH
These machines were conceived to kill !
The time, the humidity, the corrosion, the chemical reactions a little reduced "the mortal efficiency" of these machines.
But at the same time their "security" was reduced ; explosive powders which they contain became unstable and can explode spontaneously, even in the absence of shock or other outside element.
If you find an ammunition never touch it ! it is FORBIDDEN and DANGEROUS to transport it..
Reconnoitre the area, at the need mark it out, and warn without waiting for the authorities (Gendarmerie, Police, City hall, Fire brigades) which will do what's necessary so that these mortal machines are neutralized by the services of mine clearance.
A simple rifle cartridge can, by exploding, impose you very GRAVE WOUNDS, being able to provoke you an infirmity, even make you be killed.
More than a century after the end of this conflict, people are still dying because they failed to follow these recommendations.

I read and understood this warning, I reach the pages of ammunitions.
